Brady Peeti, a pioneering, award-winning actress and we are damn proud of her here at T.M.Horo Management.

She has shattered stereotypes as the first trans actress to take a leading role in the hit musical; Jekyll & Hyde.

Graduating from the National Academy of Singing and Dramatic Art, Brady's remarkable talent shines on both stage and screen. Her theatre credits include unforgettable performances in Fever: Return of the Ula, Black Ties, Astroman, The Wizard of Otāhuhu, and Larger Than Life. While she is passionate about being a role model and advocate for her community, she is also eager to explore a diverse range of roles beyond her heritage.

Beyond acting, Isha embraces her creative spirit through various forms of artistic expression. Growing up in a family of painters, she has a deep appreciation for visual art, and she extends her creativity to writing, including poetry and script development. Starring Essie Davis and Thomasin McKenzie, the film tells the story of Bunny King, a mother of two, a rough-cut diamond with a sketchy past. While battling the system to reunite with her children, a confrontation leads her to take her niece Tonyah under her wing. With the world against her and Tonyah, Bunny’s battle has just begun.

Written by Sophie Henderson, directed by Gaysorn Thavat and produced by Emma Slade, 'The Justice of Bunny King' is one of three films funded through Te Tumu Whakaata Taonga NZ Film Commission's 125 Fund which offered $1.25M to films led by women. 🖤

Anna: BRADY PEETI

No Ngāti Maniapoto me Te Ati Haunui-a-Pāpārangi, Mana Wahine, @brady_bunch27 will be playing the fierce Anna. We are thrilled to be welcoming Brady back to Tuatara Collective after she was an integral part of the 2017 development workshop of Over My Dead Body: LITTLE BLACK BITCH.

A graduate of @nasdanz , Brady has worked in the Theatre industry for the last two decades in Aotearoa and abroad. She has been described as a truly beautiful piece of art on stage, taking out most outstanding newcomer award in 2020.

Theatre highlights include “The Wizard of Ōtahuhu”, “Astroman” with @aucklandtheatreco, and most recently Brady played an unforgettable role in the critically acclaimed “Black Ties” through @terehiatheatre and @ilbijerri_theatre.
